Asante maintains its high standards of patient care by investing in our talented team of professionals. Our commitment to employee satisfaction is demonstrated by our generous benefits package for employees who work full-time or part-time (20 hours per week or more). Employees who work less than part-time receive a 15% pay differential in lieu of benefits.
Medical - Employees may choose between three medical plans to meet their needs—from a comprehensive plan with a moderate employee contribution that allows members to receive preventive services without first paying a deductible to a high deductible with a modest monthly premium and a Health Savings Account option that Asante helps fund and which can be rolled over from year to year or even to another employer.
Dental - Our dental plan pays 100% of usual and customary charges for most routine, preventive dental care. Following an annual $50 deductible per member, basic dental services are paid at 80%, and major services are paid at 50%. Maximum annual benefit is $1,200 per member, per calendar year.
Flexible Spending Account - This feature allows employees to save taxes on out-of-pocket medical and dependent care expenses.

Life Insurance - Asante provides life insurance coverage equal to two times the annual salary for full time employees and one times annual salary for part time employees, with a $50,000 coverage maximum. Optional life insurance can be purchased for the employee, spouse, or dependent children at attractive group rates.
Long Term Disability - After one year with Asante, employees qualify for this long-term disability, which pays 66 2/3% of pre-disability wages, up to a maximum of $9,000 per month, after 6 months from the date of injury or illness.
Retirement Planning - After one year of employment, employees are eligible for the Asante retirement plan, which has two options:
Basic Plan—Asante contributes 3% of pay to a tax deferred account.
Matching Plan—Asante matches fifty cents for each dollar of employee contributions up to a maximum of 3% of pay.
There is immediate vesting with both plans. Employees are also allowed to contribute to a voluntary retirement savings plan—403(b)—immediately after hire, with immediate vesting.

Employees begin accruing earned time off (ETO—which combines traditional sick leave, vacation leave, and holidays) from their very first day of employment and can use these hours immediately. In addition, employees earn Extended Sick Leave at a rate of up to seven days per year to be used in the event of an extended illness or injury.

Tuition Reimbursement is available for undergraduate and graduate college courses, seminars, and other non-college courses. Depending on one’s position, employees are eligible for up to $3,000 per year for undergraduate classes and $5,250 for graduate classes. Many courses and seminars are also hosted in our own educational facility, making it convenient for employees to attend educational offerings.
